Hi Guys,

Some excellent news, i am now able to confirm that the Thetford Star Party will be going ahead on the above said dates.

Rather than spend ages harping on about how excellent the facilities are, i have taken the liberty of uploading some photos.

It was nice to see the proprietor is also an avid astronomer, and advises of some good seeing condtions there.

Clearly myself and mrs astrotiger are very excited about this.

Will all interested parties please advise asap as places are limited. Prices will be confirmed within the next few months.

Clearly those listed now or later are NOT committed at this time.

There are adequate toilet and wash facilities, a reasonably well equipped camp shop. No onsite eats. There is a Sainsburys nearby, with a few pubs we noticed

however i intend to lay a BBQ on and hopefully there will be a marquee.

Depending on how things go, there may be trade stands. Anyone interested in a trade stand please drop me a pm.

Hi guys

just to clarify, these are touring caravans i'm listing. i would need to make sure as to how many of these they can cater for, i know a couple should not be a huge issue.

There are NO static caravans on site though :-(

Tents are preferred.

If this is an issue to those who have requested caravan accommodation, please clarify.

If there is a problem with getting a tent, i may also be able to help there:

They do not do static caravans as yet, but if people wish to bring touring caravans with them that should be fine. If Sarah and lguise could confirm if this is ok i would be most greatful.

Just to clarify, no one listed is committed to attend Thetford at this time. The whole purpose of this list is to get an idea of numbers. If your not sure your name can still remain. October 2010 is a long way off!

We have a fair way off yet before i start collecting deposits. I mention the SP now so people have time to keep that weekend free for next year :-)

Hi Guy's

With Salisbury SP now over for another year, and a great event it was, well done Darren.

I did mention to some people about Thetford SP which is being organised for next year.

It is a long way off, but still taking names etc.

Just to let you all know this is still going ahead really. Just a little bump up
