Hi all. Just bought my 1st telescope, skywatcher astrolux 76,700 for £20 off eBay. Not had weather to use it yet. Anywhere I could get the latitude rod as this is the only bit missing. Cheers for any help.

Hello Peanutcol and welcome to the site. I can't quite see from pictures but is the rod something that could be replaced with a piece of studding and an angle bracket? All the best and I hope you find the rod.

The rod is to stabilise the telescope for the latitude movement (up and down). Are the brackets missing as well? A couple of photos will help us a lot.

No brackets missing and seems pretty stable without was just so it's complete if I sell on as I have the big already
