Had an amazing show last night. Mobile phone image's.

Thanks, not to make you jealous, it was amazing to see the aurora dancing across the northern sky.

I have seen a poor display once and only once, it's a dream to see a decent one.

I'm jealous as well!

Only thing I have ever seen was just a very faint tint of red you had to question if you were really seeing it.

But then I am in Florida.

Seriously though, I saw it in the mid 80s and I know what you mean, it was amazing.

Thanks Alan, much appreciated. First off I'd imaged the green and purple one's in the first minute I arrived at Hele Bay, Ilfracombe and waited to see if anything else transpired it didn't for an hour so I'd packed up my tripod and was about to leave. Checked the aurora app again as i saw a glow appearing. Columns began to cascade and I quickly set up again, thankfully.
