Very nice, I've never had much luck getting Ps to stitch together my Quark mosaics - so kudos to you for a seamless job!

Thank you! This was stitched with MS ICE, which I find can manage small areas fine, but usually throws it's toys out on full disks 🙂 (I have enough capture files to try this later)

I don't think the budget stretches that far 😀. A hope a little Solar Scout 60 will do the job for me.

I think I will save a little longer and get a quark. Sorry for hijacking the thread. It's a really good image. 

If ICE can't stitch a whole disk, is it possible to do it hierarchically - stitch four quarters of the sun separately, then stitch the quarters together?

yes, I did this in strips then used PS to combine those

That is an unbelievable image!

Tried showing to SWMBO, she was impressed,  but not enough for me to look closer at a Lunt. Pressing order now is completely out of the question!
