Seeing the Moon for the first time through a telescope is better than .....

Inspired by a recent post by @Pixies, I wonder how you rate the first time you looked at the moon through a telescope against other life experiences.

I'll kick off  - Seeing the moon for the first time through my 130p was better than seeing The Who in concert.

First time I saw the moon i had Pink Floyd playing in the background, so got the best of both.

Seeing it the first time was incredible, but, every time I get a good clear look it's still incredible.

It has so much to enjoy and with the changing light, you find new marvels to behold every time.

Seeing the Moon for the first time was very disappointing. I'd forgotten to take the lens cap off.

Looking at the Moon was about all my old Tasco scope was any good for. Seeing the craters pop into 3D like reality at the terminator, was amazing to witness; it was almost as satisfactory, as the first time I realised I was seeing the Great Red Spot in a telescope.

Seeing the moon for the first time through my 150p was simply amazing, breathtaking would say.
