The Moon and Venus tonight from Berkshire

It's a magnificent sight.

I got home 20m ago and said to my wife, "go outside and have a look".

She went out and looked around for a minute and then said "Oh, my God!".

I've just taken a photo too.  It won't be as good.

Thanks all.. just checked on CdeC and Neptune is just out of the frame..   The star just below and to the right of Venus is phi Aquarii. Neptune is just below and to the right of it... Th three stars below and between are Psi1,2,3 Aquarii

Nice image!  I just fired up Stellarium to identify the field stars. I shouldn't have been surprised to find the same asterisms that I'd been following Neptune through last autumn!

Funny how we loose track of a bit of sky once it heads towards sunset.
