The Moon, A outside Portrait with CUs. 7-11-17

well I did it "yes" dragged my kit outside, the moons at a bad angle from the window at the mo, I forgot just how much hard work it is setting up when not in the obsyroom. by it was cold, my eyes stung when scwinting at the cameras LCD, didn't bother with the pc at first just used my extra good close up glasses. 

this starwave 102 classic f11 I got a while ago off Gus, its a darnt fine scope, yes there is CA if you really try looking for it, but there clarity of the optics are mighty.

seeing was quite good, bit of fazing but you carnt have it all . no barlows or filters where harmed while taking these shots.

Great set Charl.. those 1200x 900 shots are fantastic..

Agree about the starwave I've had nothing but rewarding views and images from mine.. mighty fine glass in the nose!

thanks Fozzie, I forgot to put the camera, the 1200d for the full shots and asi120mc for the close ups, I just put the cable thought the window and got the misses to hit the record button.

Awesome detail.... were the subs more stable when imaging outside compared from within the room and out of the window?

thanks MG, carnt really see any diff in fazing, but there is a diff with sol shots as the warm air rises up the side of the house. scope cooled down in 15min where in the obsyroom it can take a hour with the longer fracs. hope you have clear. charl.
