So due to new employment ie nights have a full astrophotographers rig for sale comprising of the following Starwave 102 ED-R with 0.8 reducer and sesto senso focuser HEQ 5 pro goto mount with geoptik case Hypercam 183c colour camera skywatcher guide kit with GP cam 130 mono camera lens warmers, extended cables, bathinov mask usb hub etc all less than 6 months old, cost in the region of £3,000 selling as package for £2,500
  2. heres my Hi-res shots. the moon looked fantastic lastnight, I most enjoyed looking and imaging, I love the way the crater rays and bright areas standout when full. seeing was OK bit fazey. kit- starwave 102 classic f11, 1200d in 1:1 crop mode, and asi120mc for close ups. hope you got chance to view. thanks for looking, please leave a comment, good or bad its good to have feedback. charl. Wide, hi-res 120 frames, well as wide as I could get with a f11. Hi-res 160 frames looks better in full ,31 mb so if you have slow internet it might take a while to load. it was 64 mb but I reduced it as my internet is like smoke signals are faster. a few closer shots to show the rays and bright dust streaks. not hires 1200x920. 1 2. 3. 4.
  3. well I did it "yes" dragged my kit outside, the moons at a bad angle from the window at the mo, I forgot just how much hard work it is setting up when not in the obsyroom. by it was cold, my eyes stung when scwinting at the cameras LCD, didn't bother with the pc at first just used my extra good close up glasses. this starwave 102 classic f11 I got a while ago off Gus, its a darnt fine scope, yes there is CA if you really try looking for it, but there clarity of the optics are mighty. seeing was quite good, bit of fazing but you carnt have it all . no barlows or filters where harmed while taking these shots. thanks for looking, hope you all had clear. please leave a comment if you have time. charl. wide. with 1200d large. with 1200d some close up at 1200x940. had to put the cable through the downstairs for these. asi120mc cam. some closer shots at 800x800.
  4. lovely sunshine here thismorrning, seeings ok a bit fazey, the big filament is looking very nice today and theres a nice bigish prom on the lower oncoming limb. in whitelight its very quiet only a bit of snakey stuff to see on the mid off going limb. kit- ed80, quark, asi120mc for HA and starwave 102, lunt wedge, 1200d for WL. hope you all have clear to view. thanks for looking. charl. large filament. prom oncoming limb lower coloured. don't ask me what happened here but I thought it looked funkie. sorry about the pixels I'm realy pushing this little cam, I'm hoping santa brings me a new one. prom invert for fun. prom off going limb lower quite faint. mono filament with colour. wl mono. wl coloured. look what I have to contend with .
