VDB 9

Jedi2014

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

this is the first long exposed image with my new Epsilon130 D. With f3,3 and 19 hrs. you can imagine how weak the dark nebulae are. This was something I did not expect. Fortunately the new moon period with clear skies was long enough to capture 5 nights.

VdB9 is a very weak dark nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. The entire region is permeated with dust, which you see in the background. In this long exposure, the dust reflects the light of the stars and appears in yellow, brown or blue color tones.

I hope you will like the image.
