Hi Guys

I've just been looking a a 'Big un' In Ha. Well worth a look. Not the brightest, but certainly wins prizes for hight!

Not sure how much aperture you'll need (I'm using 100mm). But there is a smaller but brighter one at 12 o'clock.

Trying to fight the cloud and image it with the 60mm a twiddle (solartech speak) with the tuner may help

 

edit I may have lost the battle rain on the way according to radar.

Thanks for the heads up and great pic!! I've just received a LS50 and was trying it at sunset yesterday evening on a very wobbly / impossible to adjust photo tripod. I spotted the 'start' of this. Just made a little movie of the area over the last 2 days on Helioviewer - very cool (what a fantastic website!).

I received the dovetail plate I need today, so hope to test out the scope on an AZ5 during the middle of the day real soon. Cloud + rain all day here of course ;).
