Car seat heaters from Aldi,cut them to size...place under the foam and drill a hole for your cable...simple

Does it have some kind of thermostat built in, or do you have to keep track of the temperature?

no thermostat but low temp is around 25-34 degs C ....just a matter of flicking on when its dew city for a couple of mins....

Good idea I see these heating seats are inexpensive too.

Are you going to put that heating sheet inside some kind of box to put the EPs in?

try buying a dew band at that length of wire!!!!!!...cheapest on flebay is around £10..for the cover, not the dew band!

Just placing it underneath the foam   Also under the lid foam...cosy!

I could get 2 of them - and stuff one up my jumper with an extra long wire on it

Then from a Xmas card I used a set of small red lights to light my case up...

Me too - I've put 2 layers of foil insulation in the top half of each of my cases and one at the bottom. That plus all the air trapped by the foam makes for a couple of thermos flasks for my eyepieces.

That's a great idea, I had been wondering how to do this for a while.

I will look in Aldi next shop.
