The Solar Photosphere - 13th July 2016

Surprised to see blue skies and sunshine when I got up this morning. Bit of a rush to grab what I could before leaving for work.

Lovely images as always.  You got the best of the weather. Being "work-less" I set up for a full morning of imaging, but after an hour it was all over, and rain started. Back to terrible dark  cloud now. How was the seeing for you? It was awful here; real 'boiling' stuff, though it could be because the sun was just over the trees, and presumably they give off lots of warm wet evaporation first thing in the morning. Iain

great shots Dave, yer the seeing wasnt too good here, had to do a fair bit of adjusting in topaz with my images, yours look very good mate, well done. thanks charl.

Thanks Guys, seeing was average I guess. I was in rather a hurry so did not really pay much attention. My usual method of assessing the seeing is how difficult it is to focus just using the DSLR LCD, if it's troublesome then it's probably poor seeing!
