Hello from NE Florida!

Hello, I'm joining this and other forums because I am getting back into the hobby of astronomy. About 20 years ago I had some binoculars, but after a year or so they got lost and I really haven't done much true stargazing since. But I've always liked astronomy and planetarium software and knowing meteor showers and things like that. But last month I bought some binoculars and a tripod and have been trying to resolve doubles and staring at the planets. So far so good!

Welcome!  I lived in Daytona Beach area for about 5 years.  There are some great beaches down the coast with little light pollution and unobstructed sky all the way to 0 degrees.  I miss those views.  Good luck getting into the new hobby!
