Taken last night. Good job I had cut the grass earlier as at 17 deg it's pretty low !!!!

Seeing wasn't great, as was to be expected at that alt, so image was jumping all over the chip, almost had to increase the ROI up from 640x480 to keep it on the chip at one stage. After a bit of fiddling, settled on 5 min AVIs for each colour and managed to get two sequences off before the trees stopped play.

Lots of processing in AS!2 (20% stacked), R6, WinJupos and PS to get something half decent.

Nice shot Freddie, its similar to what I got on the 17th last month. These low planets are a real challenge this year. But hey that's half the fun seeing if we can beat the laws of physics
