The Solar Chromosphere (Ca-K) - 15th May

Lots going on in Ca-K today with lots of active regions and some good prominences too. I had hoped to be able to spend some time imaging AR2544 (in the middle) as it appears to be the most active, but clouds have stopped play now.

And proms on the east side. The dust bunny (bottom centre) has since been evicted.

Nice work David. Well done!   Was hoping to have a look at the 'eye' myself, but clouded over here too. Hoping I may get a chance later on.

Best set of Ca-K images I have seen for some time. Loads of activity all captured very well, including the new giant A/R!

Managed to see the 'eye' earlier on when clouds broke up a little. Very interesting features on the disk today.
