May 7th - H Alpha - Fine Filaments in NE

Again a very murky morning, but the cloud thinned enough for me to have a quick session between 10.30 and 10.49 am.  Single frame taken at 10.32, Lunt 60mm DS, Olympus E-M10, 1/30 sec at 500 asa.

Nice shot. Well done.  That ring area that surrounds the AR seems very prominent. Pity we can't see it in the visible light.

No time for imaging today, but I did grab 15 mins visual. The filaments were very prominent and you have captured them very well.
