the sky looked good to my mk 1s but seeing wasnt much good through the scope,very hazey and not showing much detail. but it was there so i had to shoot it. taken with ed80 2xed barlow, 450d. thanks for looking,clear skys charl.

Another day another Sun, well done Charl, bit's of blue here but mostly cloud, really need to try my portable setup on the night sky before SGLX1 to make sure it and me haven't rusted up

thanks Dave, all i need to do to switch from solar to DS is take the filter and barlow off and im ready to go, not much chance of rust on mine, i could do with useing the 200p more,but its just its so easy with the ed80 .clear skys charl.

Very nice images

I did get 5 minutes of Sun yesterday too but the haze screwed up stacking and I forgot about the ghost image which is sat over a 1/4 of the disc. Oh practice practice!
