Jupiter data revisited...

Hi all,

Due to a disproportional amount of cloudy nights, I decided to go through some of my old data... I found the data from 17 Feb I captured using the Skyris 618C CCD and decided to reprocess it..

Sharing my result... I think its a slight improvement over the first version...

I wonder how it would perform with smaller pixels.. but at the same time the extra resolution might be a great benefit...

I think it gives U a bigger image.

Definitely worth a try... if you get this one, I'll be very curious to see how it will compare to a 640x480 CCD with bigger pixels... I wonder if the bigger image scale would have a similar effect to increasing the size using a barlow, like, if the image would be dimmer for the same gain and shutter speed.

Very nice image! Smaller pixels mean larger image scale and a smaller Barlow is needed.
