Seeing very sporadic today, so much so I haven't been able to get the rest of this region in a mosaic.

Great image !!! It's a bold statement when saying I was getting similar visual views but that sure is one big sunspot and the seeing at times was allowing me to push the magnification up to x120. I could also easily make out the sunspot with eclipse glasses for those who don't have solar scopes but have a pair from March's eclipse.

I assume the image was captured earlier in the day ? I was observing from around 3pm and I could make out spotting developing within the penumbra and a misty grey patch along the basin of the darker umbra. Hope that description makes sense ??
