A diagram on another thread showed them all as being much closer.

You're right. These images are more consistent with their relative positions on February 19. On the 20th, the three are much closer. I'm waiting for clouds to break to see the trio!

Looks great, the images posted are lovely, but nowhere close to the diagram.

that image is pure hype designed to drive customers to advertisement driven websites imho. 3 seconds on Starry Night Pro or Stellarium shows the real orientation viewed from the UK. This image is from Stellarium at 18:30 this evening

 Two very different images.

Real images cant lie. 

I couldnt see it, but it sure wasnt as the diagram showed.
