AstroDC
Outstanding ring around the moon tonight, and within the ring...bright clear(ish) moon and the ever-glorious jupiter. Really makes me wish I had a good camera and nice wide angle lens. (Must add to shopping list!)Anyone taken any pictures??
Davey-T
Took a pic of it earlier with 60Da and Canon 20mm, had to do it in two halves though.Dave

John
Thats just what it looked like from here as well - thanks for posting that one Stu The GRS transit and Io's disappearance were the highlights on Jupiter this evening but there was just a little too much hazy cloud here to allow my 4" frac to cut through to see more than that. But the conditions gave us that lunar halo to enjoy so I'm not ungrateful

jgs001
It was a spectacular view last night... the sky was pretty poor because of it, of course. We had a good view of it after the Adur AS meet. I shot a 2 pane pano of it when I got home..http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/235909-lunar-halo-2-feb-2015/

Pete Presland
I saw some superb images on twitter this morning, but the clouds/snow stopped any chance of seeing it last night.
