That is quite astonishing! I'm seeing individual stars when I zoom in! I didn't know that was possible!

When I see images like that it also makes me think of our own Galaxy, and how little of it we actually see. Even in our small neck of the woods there are wonders to behold, as we see in Hubble (Or even our own) images. What else is out there that we cannot see because it is obscured?

Now I know the true meaning of mind-boggling.

I need to get some frame of reference for what I'm looking at, some idea of scale, if that's at all possible.  Is most of it stars, or dust, or what?

Yeah not bad but think the core is a little blown still. Needs a few shorter subs.

That really is incredible, with resolving power like that if i controlled Hubble it would constantly be pointing into 7 of 9's bathroom port hole.

i prefered the super long exposure image that chap on here did of Andromeda. the one where he annotated all the clusters and stuff.
