Just managed to find a "less hazy" bit of sky this morning and took 200 frames of which 74 were stacked to produce this:

Roger very nice as usual. I am trying to use the software 'Tilting Sun' as per your final image. Can you confirm that North is top with East to the left and West to the right. The motion of the Sun is from East to West.

Yes - with my images north is at the "top" and spots appear around the left hand limb (ie East) and dissappear on the right (ie West). When using a DSLR (or other camera) at prime focus you get an image that is the right way up and the right way round with a refractor.

I think AR2033 rotated over the NW limb yesterday and the sunspots nearing the limb are the following sunspots of AR2034.
