Nice shot, I was looking for the GRS tonight but the seeing and transparency, for my site, was not so good. You've got nice details of the banding from a single shot

Good effort.  I'm out capturing data at the moment, though the seeing doesn't look stunning I have to say.

Super shot of Jupiter and the GRS. I am out tonight having a go at M82 and the remnants of the supernova, so far so good.

Great for a single shot. I got a few Avis of the GRS transit however the seeing was terrible so I am not confident of a result at all. Will see in the morning what's stacked and feasible.

Should have said that this was produced from a movie shot with the g9, so not a single image. About 400 frames stacked in registax5 I don't think it would be possible to capture a single frame showing this amount of detail, just in case there are some budding planetary imagers watching

Find it fascinating, especially the movement of the moons.
