Another SN in M82

Recommended Posts

I took this image of the supernova in m82 on Sunday night when we had a window of clear skies in the evening. Taken while the nearby school's all terrain pitch floodlights were on! Never give up to light pollution!

Just 9x 4 minute exposures

250PX tracking and guided / Canon 1000D

Darks on the fly, No flats

Thanks for looking :-)

Thanks for posting!  I'm a mere obs astronomer and not capturing images......yet!  So it's good to see more of what I've been looking at.  Nice detail in there and in comparison to it's nearest star, the SN is a certainly of a lower magnitude as is pretty apparent to the naked eye.   Nobody has reported any particular color to this yet.
