Bought both cheaply in Shanghai. The series is OK but not that great.

Mostly IMO Prof Cox wandering around some nice scenery.

Yes, that is the only thing that has kept my finger hovering over the mouse button.  I don't have a Blu Ray drive, but am not averse to the idea of purchasing one if necessary.  Or is it worth buying video on DVD now even if it is also available on Blu Ray?

I'm not over enthusiastic about blue ray, I don't really notice a lot of difference.

I really liked the wonders series , and I've got both books which I've read through a few times.
