My name is Michael. I have just recently bought (and still waiting to have delivered) a Celestron Nexstar 6SE. Its been about 20 years since I last looked through a telescope (a dobson) but I never lost the love of looking at the stars and wondering what's out there. I'm getting close to retirement and look forward to having lots of time time to re-immerse myself in star gazing and exploring the sky. I am looking forward to having lots of interesting conversations and picking the brains of the experts.

Hiya Michael - Welcome to SGL. Congrats on your new scope, I bet you are excited. Sadly I'm no expert, but if you have any problems then do shout as one or two folks really do know what they are talking about!! :grin:

While you are waiting ...... patiently no doubt!! ....... you could download Stellarium, a great planetarium programme that will really help you find your way about the sky.
