Good image Simon with plenty of detail. Maybe a touch more colour saturation would be further improvement but that can be down to personal taste of course. The moon and shadows are really nice. Keep up the good work.

I think I'm going to agree with Pete on this one Simon. it also looks like its got a pinkish hue on my monitor. still a great shot though!

I still say that it is Callisto itself and not the shadow. LOL  Take a look at the Jupiter's Moons calculator on the Sky & Telescope site.  The shadow transit was between 15:24 and 17:34 on the 14th!

Hi Angie just been on CN & a guy from Holland imaged this on the 15th with callisto to the outer edge of the frame which may confirm my earlier post!
