Hi all

Just got myself a telescope(Cellestron 114eq) after many years of wanting one and talking myself out of it, been interested in astronomy for quite a long time. Downloaded stellarium a few weeks ago, and have spend many hours with binoculars looking up and thought that i should get a telescope to relieve the neck ache. Typically I finally get one and its cloudy

Which part of north Devon are you from? There's some areas with very dark skies in Devon!

I live in a little village about 15 miles North of dartmoor with hardly any street lamps or other light pollution so am quite lucky i suppose as when its dark it is very dark

Have you ever been to astroadventures ? Not far from your location, very friendly and they have a half meter dobsonian amongst some other scopes
