...venus and the atmospheric conditions did cause me to look again...10/02/13 and the next few days from my vantagepoint here in vero beach ...one would swear venus was a comet with a tail falling toward the sharp cresant moon and then just gone ,,,i am a newcomer to the south florida skies and the clouds going three directions at one time.in seattle,the wind is a steady sw and thats it. generaly ,perfect cloud cover will protect white self....but the skys are beautiful when one can see them...it is a different picture surely.so this is new and interesting,and will take a while to get my starmap in my head

Welcome to the site. I was in Vero Beach in May this year and absolutely loved it. We stayed for a week and fell in love with the area. Completely unspoilt. Shame I didn't have a scope with me.
