I have finally processed my first solar image. This one was taken earlier today, in between the gaps in the clouds.

Skywatcher Equinox 120 with Baader Herschel Wedge. Camera was PGR Grasshopper 3 (ICX687). Stacked in AS!2. Then processed in Photoshop, with tuition from hubby (Luke).

Fantastic detail from the hershel wedge Sarah. If I had a small scope with a 2" fitting I would definitely think about getting one of these.

Robin, the 1.25" Lunt wedge is very good too incase you haven't considered it. I was getting lovely views with mine today.

Sarah, that's a lovely image. Really sharp and with loads if detail coming through, look at all that granulation!!

I wasn't seeing much granulation here today, seeing wasn't brilliant but still that AR is pretty impressive, isn't it!
