Good seeing means shooting a time-lapse. SW Mak-Cass 180, PGR Chameleon mono, Baader Astrosolar ND 3.8 + UV/IR cut + Solar Continuum filters. 30 frames of animation, each a stack of 1000 raw frames captured over 1 minute with 3-minute intervals. Covers 11:30-13:30 CEST.

Thank you. I once saw an H-alph animation of a filament near the limb which showed slight rotation of the Sun and wanted to shoot something similar in WL. I haven't expected the rotation to be so noticeable...

so much rotation in just 3 hrs

... in just 2 hours :p
