Hi, Clarisse here, and finally found the time to stop by and say hello.

Now based in the UK, so looking forward to the legendary clear skies you have all the time :lol: I have brought my binoculars across the water ( well through the tunnel actually! ) Will purchase a scope as soon as my apartment is straightened out ( could be a while)

Hi Clarrise and welcome to the forum. I hope your avatar is not an indication of what you wear when you observing the sky because you might need a thicker pair of socks to be honest! :grin: To help you get started, you might want to consider downloading some free planetarium software called "Stellarium" if you haven't already. Its got a lot of great features to help you learn the night sky and can be configured to match the sky as seen from your own viewing location. It will certaainly keep your interest going when the clouds come in which seems to be a little too frequently at the moment.

Thank you all. Yes rest assured I dress a lot warmer than my avatar suggests, that one is more my summer party number :grin:
