First light with self modded 1100D

After waiting an age I finaly managed to get out and try my modded 1100D.

M33 was shot over 3 nights during a 7 day period where I was plaiged with guiding prolems that are sill not properly sorted . I was gutted as this was the first time I had attempted 20min subs, and they were going well.

The Horse and Flame was shot on Friday night between the clouds and rain showers, I had to cut the exposure time due to a white wash effect on the subs, I assumeed to be high thin clouds that I couldn't see, but I am glad I persisted.

M33,

3x1200 sec subs (before the guiding messed up)

17x600 sec subs

ISO 800

CLS clip in filter

15 flats

15 Darks

15 Bias

Attempted to process in CS5.

Hi, Thanks for the kind words everyone

I am happy with both, and the difference the camera mod has made.

Both shots were taken with the 200PDS and a Skywatcher coma corrector. I would put the file for you to have a go with Guy, if I could find somwhere to host it?

Good luck with yours Stuart, I didn't realise how much diference the mod had made until it came to processing.

Jason.
