Jupiter 11th December - Best seeing yet!!

At last! We had some really good steady seeing here in West Sussex UK. This image was a singe set of 1 minute RGBs derotated in Winjupos. each RGB first processed in AS2 and R6 wavelets.

Very pleaed with the result which had little post processing in CS2 which shows we just need the good seeing!

Plenty of detail right up to the poles and a nice view of the orange spot (top right) in the NTZ. NEB very active.

That's an image to be proud of, great work, as you say finally the gods of good seeing are cooperating

I want a 618 chip too... my old DMK21 has quite some noise, even with a 12" mirror i'm allways near 800 to 900 gain in most cases, I supose with that 618 chip things would be quite diferent :/
