All the gear but no idea...

Here is my new set up. Scope thanks to Gaz O'C - very nice. Sphinx mount off Astro B&S - also very nice. I even have a couple of TV plossls to get me started.

Trouble is, I haven't a clue how it works! Steep learning curve to come, but as soon as the power tank has charged I'll have a go!

Learning is half the fun, and you've got yourself a nice set-up with which to embark on the 'learning curve'.

You'll most likely have lots of questions as you go along, and there's lots of people on SGL, that will be more than happy to try and answer your questions.

Just a bit! As soon as I bought it the CPC 800 came up! Still, I wanted to try a EQ mount and can't wait for clear skies.

You'll have a lot of fun with that setup - the ED100's a great all-rounder.

(I would have thought you'd be in some serious pain though - impaled (TWICE) by a heavy duty mount!!! )
