They say high winds at 700ft - but the site shows wind speed of less than 1mph.... how much impact could the wind be at that height... I would be more concerned for wind speeds in the stratosphere !

I would think that the balloon would be affected more by low level winds as it will be pretty much effectively deflated until it reaches a decent altitude.

The status has just been chagned... The mission resumes and the balloon layout has begun... next update at 0930 MDT... which I think is 1530 GMT

The top of the balloon is at the 700 feet mark, so I'm guessing that stronger wind at that height could make filling and launching difficult.

Do wish the camera feed wasn't so far away...and the text was not covering what might be going on around the capsule

It was much closer earlier, and you could see the capsule cleaarly. I guess once the balloon is filled, you'll need to be at a distance to see it all.
