NGC6946 Final (I think)

A combined image SX9 ccd for lum with the Tak 102 @f8 and DSLR for colour on the 200mm f9 RC on the NJPmount

58 x 1200 sec DSLR colour and 100 x 900 secs L

the DSLR images were captured in APT and combined in DSS with no flats or darks

the ccd images were captured and stacked using Maxim DL with darks and flats calibration frames

the L and RGB images were processed in PS then aligned using REGISTAR (not registax) then combined in PS

might bre temted to add some Ha

This is the fireworks galaxy isn't it? A very challenging one, I understand, but you've certainly met that challenge!

Very nice for such a difficult object. It takes ages to get anything meaningful on this one since it is so close to the plane of the MW. Ive attempted it a couple of times and chickened out!
