Hello from the Channel Islands

Hello all. I live in Guernsey where we enjoy very dark skies. I'm a casual observer, mostly binoculars and a small 120mm refractor once or twice a week, weather permiting. To be honest watching stargaze live has inspired me to spend a bit more time in the garden and a bit more money on a new telescope.

It's been 10 years since I bought the last one and I see the choices haven't gotten any simpler.
