Hello from Dorset UK

Hello all!

I am just getting sorted now that I have moved to Dorset and have nice dark skies.

I have a small dome observatory with a permenant polar mount for my LX200 gps (14").

I need to get the collimation fine tuned as I have not collimated it since the move here.

I have started taking a few photographs with a Nikon D3100 attached to the scope and been very impressed with simple single exposures of the Orion Nebula, Dumbbell nebula and Ring Nebular.

I am now investigating what kit I need to take more serious photos, so I'm looking into autoguiding and also all the post processing software.

I'll start by having a good look around in the beginners section on autoguiding setups.

Cheers!
