Venus (day and night picture)

Both images stacked from around 500frames. I used Celestron C8 and toucam pro. Top image is without 2x barlow and bottom one is with. Next time I will try 4x image mate to see what it does.I Don't expect to see any clouds though

Your night time picture is amazing nicely focused and the exposure is spot on. I always struggle with the exposure on Venus because its so damn bright.

You got them just fine. It is refreshing to see Venus other than just a blob of light. It actually looks like a planet.

Why can we only see Venus in half shape? Where is the another half hidden into? Is that Earth's umbra?

As it has an orbit closer to the sun than we are it is in a position to have phases that are easily visible. The non lit area is the side facing away from the sun.
