First go at imaging

I managed to grab this last night...my first attempt at imaging so don't laugh

Thats great, dont think anyone is gona laugh at that.... What camera did you use ?

Your all too kind, I used an SPC880 flashed to 900 with an IR Block filter, got it as a kit from Morgan Computers. I had read a bit about it not being easy and the threads were spot on so I just tried to get as good a focus as possible.

There's absolutely nothing to laugh at with that image. It's a very good start, I've only managed the moon on my mobile phone camera.

nice image for a first go, keep at it, its a steep learning curve but you will be supprised how quickly you will climb it with the advise from SGL members.

That looks like a tear in the space time continiuum, its tricky this imaging. To be honest I think I got lucky Going to have a go at the moon next if it ever decides to appear before midnight!
