I had one of these. Very good indeed. Big problem is I’m pretty sure this is the eyepiece that led me on the path to my 4.7E so good luck 😉

My best view of mars was 21st September. You don’t realise it’s the best night until you’ve passed it.

Had a look at mars. It’s much smaller now 🙁

Well it’s only about 77x with this setup but it “bright”. I find it very revealing and it’s nice to have some space around the moon, it gives easy views as it’s in the eyepiece a very, very long time. The 13E is just such a special eyepiece to me, it never fails to impress. It’s the longest fl ethos I have, maybe that’s why I use it so much.

Just noticed it’s clear for a short while. So for the next hour it’s me, the moon, 200pds and the ethos 13. Too bright to look at anything else but I’m not complaining 👍

Absurdly good eyepiece. Don’t let it go! Definitely one of my best buys this year.

It’s been a difficult year ol’ chap. Chin up and just remember this will get better at some point. Most of us just see the planets very briefly between clouds. Take care.

Folds down short. Call me dim but how does the focuser work?

HCA’s most important, it all folds without them.
