  1. Amazon only have 3 box sizes. Large, extra large and super large.
  2. May as well do some reading, I can’t remember what a clear sky looks like unfortunately. Would be nice to get one on one of my days off 🤞
  3. I think you may be on to something there 👍
  4. Split the difference and a wider field - Explore Scientific 82º 6.7mm 👍
  5. I have an Es 5.5 and find it very comfortable with eye relief, Its quite tight but I always find the perfect position really quick and easy. Has anyone got the 5.5 and the 9mm? How similar are they in this respect? I love the way the 5.5 is and wondering if it would sit nicely under my E13.
  6. Does that make it easier for a fine focus although it’s not on the 10/1 gear ratio?
  7. Thank you Gary, that is really useful information as I’ve never seen or handled one.
  8. Those zooms are tempting. What’s the size and weight compared to other eyepieces?
  9. How many times have you got it out just to look at?
  10. I definitely need something to look forward to 🙁
  11. 😁 gradually heading towards the 100 degree stuff.
  12. I’m teasing myself at the moment with a possible 10mm.
  13. I think we all have a favourite eyepiece and never stop looking to find our next favourite eyepiece ?? 🤣 ??
  14. Take a look at this.. https://garyseronik.com/no-tools-telescope-collimation/ no tools collimating 👍
  15. I find a Rigel on its own good to find my way around.
  16. Funny thing eye relief. Different results for different people. I’m not sure what the eye relief is on my Es 5.5/100, it’s tighter than my ethos 4.7mm but easier for me in use. This is why I have kept it. Ethos are 15mm and the Es must be less than 12 but however I plant my eye into the cup it seams a perfect view. Being pressed in so tight really gets me inside the view. I sometimes wonder if all eyepieces could be improved for comfort just by having a “custom” rubber cup ??
  17. The 14mm & 8.8mm were my favourites. Come to think of it, all of the 1.25 inch ones. Well built, compact and equal weights.. topped off with an Es 24/68 👍
