  1. APM are putting out some decent eyepieces. I am very pleased with the on I bought.
  2. Seriously mad. Loads of money to look at some dots 🤣
  3. My opinion.. as this is an astronomy site and not an auction site, say the price you want for it. If the price is too high people will move along. You then have the option to lower the asking price.
  4. 70% of new price no matter how “new condition” the item is the normality on SGL.
  5. Much better than having to keep removing the eyepiece for sure.
  6. Those resistors are massive. They are the size of capacitors.
  7. Sound like we’ve had a similar evening. Tough on a work day though. Nice one 👍
  8. Came home from work really really tired. Clear sky showing moon, Jupiter, Saturn and mars. How can these things be resisted.. for me they can’t. Set up and with tired eyes went for it. Jupiter washed out easily however Saturn was amazing at 198x, very 3D tonight. Mars was good up to the 150 mark, ice and lots of dark markings. Tonight’s bonus was the ring nebula before my eyes started to give up on me. Nothing like an unexpected patch of clear, I’ve had my fix so bring in tomorrow’s rain 🌧 sorry my reports are not very technical. Something I need to perfect.
  9. Expensive road indeed. I won’t go there. Almost as expensive as collecting TV eyepieces 🤣 (I’m guilty of this too).
  10. I’m very happy for you that it’s ok. You sounded a little disappointed. The 24mm sounds like it’s one of your favourites.
  11. Most importantly you got your 2” eyepiece to focus now.
  12. Are you going to learn to play the digerydoo?
  13. So I’m not the only one with bits like this. The postman brought this quite some time ago as you can see.. my trusty Fisher Space Pen. It’s been through hell as chemicals are frequently applied to remove virus from red zone working. It’s become something I’m afraid of losing 🤞
  14. One day hopefully! If you buy Morpheus 14 and 17.5mm you'll save almost half the cost!😊👍 Dave This is true.
  15. I did like the pan but wanted to go with the 100 degrees. The APM was better than I thought it would be and is as wide as I’m going to use in my little frac. I think the pan is good for a wide eyepiece with a set of something like Delos and it went to the same person who had my Delos set from me.
  16. On the plus side you can have a darn good workout while your telescope is cooling down.
  17. I think the APM has a good following and it will please. I probably won’t be using the Antares. Do you want to evaluate it ?
  18. Well.. here we are 2 1/2 months later. I’ve sold the pan 27 and added an APM 20 & Ethos 3.7mm. it’s a deep rabbit hole indeed. Only question now is will the TV’s start to bully the APM in the case 😩
  19. Just think what it would be like with a Delos 14 of 17 🤔 glad you had some nice views.
  20. Sorry John I’m having a silly moment I thought it was the 21 🤪
