Hi everyone , if this is in the wrong section can the mod move it , ok I got the Sky watcher Wi-Fi dongle and was going to use sky safari 6 pro on my Samsung galaxy S6 , I downloaded from Google play last night it said there are 18 data files to download and it started to download 14 hours later still not done , on cloudy nights the writer of the programme said to uninstall and reinstall still not working , has any one on here got any ideas before I got for a refund I have stellariaum on my phone will this work ok to operate the scope ok ? I also have the synscan app does this have the same into as the hand set ?

  5. Thanks for the chat Paul I emailed FLO and asked them to change it to the Wi-Fi dongle which is cheaper This now raises another question will it work with stellariaum or do I have to use sky safari pro 6

  10. Hi really great photo I am glad we can't see what our telescopes see as it would make driving very interesting as you will only see the car in front of it's a mile away , may be we can as it will explain some of the parking I see
  11. Hi this may be a stupid question , I have ordered a sky watcher GPS dongle from FLO ( out of stock but I only like to use FLO so waiting for it ) now once it's lock on to its satellite and set up the hand set does it have to stay plugged in to hand set of can it be unplugged and put away

    Flocking

    I flocked my OO vx8l I got the flocking from FLO they tell you how much you need and it's super sticky , makes contrast a lot better worth the effort

  17. Hi I have the HEQ5 pro with my VX8L on it The wobble when you focus is there but stops quickly but if it's windy forget it , it would be bad with a 10 inch scope

  22. Hi I use a 12mm cross hair eyepiece for alignment the star will be a sharp point of light between the cross hairs
