This is how a 200p look.and no issues with stability or tracking. Alt /az is so much better.

I made mine from a yoga mat.best £2:00 i spent.

Not much more than a std 200p. Im 62 and I manage it easily.

I'm the conservatory always.

If your wanting pictures then the 200p is not what you need .

I use bst eyepieces. I like them Alot. Got a case full of them. I changed my skywatcher finderscope for the ts optics 10 x60 raci finderscope so i can use all my eyepieces in it.which was one reasons for changing .I'm ready to go tnite so it's on patio ready

Nice down there.I'm in cambridgeshire. Out in the middle of nowhere. Very flat with some good veiws at times.how is it down there.

Actually it's a massive improvement over the std dob.it's stable. I can track with it.the controls take all of 5mins to get used to.to honest I'd never go back to nudging for want of a better word.It sits on top of a water butt base when in use.which brings the finderscope up perfectly with my eye.it really is a joy to use.have got a dob yourself? .what part of the country you from.

My 200p skyliner. Probably as it'sthe only scope I own .and likely to stay that way.

200p for me.size matters? . If you can carry it.get it in your car.find somewhere safe to keep it.then fine. Because they all come into play . Even more so if you buy a dobsonion that's to big and heavy . And you finish up looking at a fabulous dobsonian that lives in the corner of the room . It really is something you need to think long and hard about. Wouldn't change my 200p for anything because I can manage it. And it really is a fabulous dob . Imho.

Bst are a good match for the 200p. I have them and think they are very good value for money. There are better eyepieces out there. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Hi.I have modified it so that it can be adjusted in alt/az. Much easier to track .it really is a pleasure to use.

Well said.that's why I bought my 200p skyliner because its manual.no goto computer driven.just old fashioned astronamy. The way it should be.I can find my way around the sky without a goto or handset. Got no plans to ever change to goto dobsonion. The 200p is simple cheap.and gets great reviews.

Yes as said sell it .and buy a raci. Might cost but we'll worth the cost . Just do it.

Bst are a good choice. Lots of people on here use them. Just depends how deep your pockets are. Good luck

I sometimes use an app called Constallation map.and another one called Starlight.they are quite good.

Hi I use a ts optics 10x60 finderscope. Great finder.and can use all my eyepieces in it.

Did the glass of wine come with that.I must get a glass for mine.
