  1. Impressive bag for life you got from a Tesco! ?
  2. Nice one Stu. Many owners will be happier with a better saddle I am sure.
  3. Now the AZGti is starting to look more tempting. @FLO ?? will you we stocking the ADM adaptor piece and a vixen type clamp soon at all?
  4. Back to lists for a moment, the problem with them is they are too durable. I found my pad from 2001 when I moved into my present house and started a big jobs to do list, they were all big jobs, the list has 15 items listed. To much head shaking I realised only 5 of them were done! So being forgetful, I have misplaced the list.......What jobs were those??
  5. The scope has been on here before, sorry, but not on a nice GP mount and dual drives! Set up for its maiden test earlier today, to sort balance etc. What a nice set up this makes ? (ED103s on GP Mount on SW 1.75" SS Tripod) EDIT 28/02/19 having now used it, tracking was wonderful, but getting to move to find things when used to alt az simplicity was quite a challenge, such a challenge it may not stay sadly.
  6. @Fozzie they look nice and ready for observing.
  7. No is the short answer. That test is one so many of us keep trying. Everytime I cut the collection back, I just buy more 'just to see'.
  8. Very nice, part of the Vixen HR rush going on. How do you expect it and the 3.4 to sit alongside the Nagler 3-6 Jeremy?
  9. Oh dear oh dear, looks like the postal Gremlins have struck with you too.
  10. On a far brighter note from my earlier posts, The Vixen GP Mount survived the rigours of Parcel Force ? Excuse the mess behind in the image.... It does have a Vixen Counter weight too in the same green. Nice tracked Lunar observing from now on with my ED103s ? ?
  11. Parcel Force not only did not deliver my parcels the other day, they then lost then when we went to the depot to collect them! They found them 1 1/2 hours later. Sadly one was damaged and the what had been a rather nice Vixen Aluminium tripod was dented and bent, so nothing to show other than sadness this morning ?
  12. I can see how such a simple mix up could happen Helen, the books are so similar! ?
  13. Today Parcel Force delivered absolutely nothing, yes nothing at all! They had my full address, e-mail and phone number and I was set in all day and they say I had given insufficient address for delivery. It's the same address every other courier and indeed Royal Mail deliver to all day, every day for the past 18 years. I would love to have shared my purchase with you, but it's not to be......grrrrrrr! Little rant over, please resume normal programming ? To be fair to Parcel Force I am updating my post. The seller miss addressed my parcels to another house in my street, no one was in! This is due to a drop down menu when you online print address labels by postcode. The self same issue happened when FLO sent a parcel to the wrong address, using the Royal Mail, online portal, probably shared with Parcel Force. Wrong address, not unable to deliver. My good lady is now driving 16 miles each way to collect it from the depot for me. Bless her xx
  14. Yep, very interesting and clearly demonstrates the danger of single data point use and analysis! Extra data, it’s not spherical, yep, makes far more sense.
  15. Thanks DS24, but that's not one of the new ones, its the existing 82 degree line. The ones I posted about are / were Longer Eye Relied LER version, but now withdrawn by ES. ES kit is normally very good, so something quite notable has gone astray.
  16. Because the first time I saw them listed anywhere was Tuesday, th day I posted the thread @Louis D I am not looking for any EP at the minute, was window shopping.
  17. Extensive chatter as always on CN, but only one person who has imported one to the US. It has a bigger eyelens and about 15mm eyerelief from the owner and Don Pensanks comments. Looks to be ES revising the 82 range.
  18. 15mm inter pupils distance, is that eyerelief to the rest of us?
  19. Noticed that Explore Scientific have brought out a few 82 Degree Long Eye Relief EP. They are very close FL to the existing ones and well priced, interesting huh. Not listed at FLO yet but popping up on other internet sites.
  20. Glad you got first light and a set up and test run with that nice 100mm scope. As a non imager, you lost me after balancing the scope unfortunately - that is my failing of course. I wish you and the scope a long and happy imaging career together.
  21. New halls and separate lecture hall, looks to have grown rather than shrunk.
  22. From the IAS Facebook page. IAS 2019 SHOW DATES ARE FRI 15TH & SAT 16TH NOVEMBER
  23. @Rainmaker that looks very nice indeed. What are the L-O-A 21? not seen these before??
  24. If Astro ever looses its charm, Medieval themed banquets can be held, fed by the brewerey next door, sorted ?
