  2. I have over 120 expired sale/wanted ads on ABS with only 11 being successful, just makes me an unsuccessful seller/buyer. I think the definition of a dealer is someone who makes a profit selling things. Peter
  3. Can you turn the part left over & take another picture, got a feeling a metal part has sheared! Here are pictures of mine 1st clamping pin removed 2nd & 3rd with it in place. Peter
  4. Link to NUC spec; https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/support/articles/000005545/intel-nuc.html Just checked spec on 2019 i5 models, it's a pdf file on page 42 shows the back panel, specifies 12 to 19 volts on the power input socket. Peter
  5. FYI, an NUC will run without issues on a 12v supply.
  6. Hi Martin, Back when I was looking I found a reasonable UK source for the adaptor I needed, went pear-shaped & ended up taking the USA option... I'd recommend spending just once. Peter
  7. Here's a link for the page where the manual can be downloaded if you don't already have it. https://www.meade.com/etx-90-105-125-ec-manual-size-0-9-mb/ Peter
  8. I'm using a Windows 10 NUC running SGPro together with PHD2 for my triple imaging rig, recently gone back to an Atik GP for the guiding as Atik Ascom driver now supports 4 devices... problem is the GP seems to work OK as long as I start the guiding manually in PHD2 but if any errors or change of target accure where SGPro is then controlling stop/starts of the guiding I'm left with a repeating 9 normal guide frames followed by 9 blank, meaning black no image data showing in the frames. Once this issue starts it's precent in any program that's used for looping frames with the Atik GP, only after a restart of Windows will it go back to normal. Does anyone have an idea what could cause this behaviour? Peter
  9. Did you get the Takahashi EDP Flattener 1.01X for FSQ-85EDX with it? If your thinking of using a full frame sensor it's suppose to make it possible, 44mm imaging circle up from 40mm without it. You certainly have got yourself a bargain with or without the flattener! Peter
  10. Sounds like the Eagle Core doesn't support your rs232 to USB adapter, best do as Steve suggested and contact them directly giving the details of your particular adapter. Peter
  11. Good to hear it's working OK. In answer to your question about my ETX-125 construction, seems the complete one has plastic panels covering an aluminium fork while the spare is all plastic with just a small metal panel supporting the worm gear. Do you know if both types have the same internal parts apart from fork construction? Peter
  12. Thanks to everyone for there help with this. I made the mistake wiring in an old socket from a cheap extension lead that had poor contacts, swapped out for a13amp wall socket & all good for now. As suggested I've ordered a more robust 240v AC 50amp SSR (will this need a heatsink with a 10amp load?) that can be switched with 12v DC, will make changes if & when needed. Peter
  13. Not sure a spare was a good idea, until now I wasn't aware of these difficulties!
  14. I have a fully working ETX-125, the one pictured come up for sale de-scoped so bought as a spare. Peter
  15. Hi Colin, got the panel off eventually, it had been glued at the base! Mine has cables soldered straight to the board. Here are the picture; Hope these help, Peter
  16. Hi Colin, Wasn't trying to help in a material way, if I can get the panel off I'll post a photo showing the wiring. Peter
  17. Can't find anything else online but do have a de-scoped ETX-125 assembly, have tried removing the inside panel by removing all the screws but seems stuck where it joins the base... guess you may know how it comes apart? Peter
  18. This one offers plenty of fixing options... https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p8517_TS-Optics-Losmandy-level-dovetail-barl-w--flat-surfaces--356-mm-long.html Peter
  19. Switches on at first then intermediate on off on, so guess it's the latter. Will have a look for an SS Relay. Thanks
  20. Bought a esp8266 with 4 relays hoping I'd be able to switch my observatory transformer & dehumidifier on/off from my mobile. Got it working well with the transformer but found the relays bounce when powering 240v 10A rated dehumidifier, relays are rated at 240v 10A... would using 2 relays in parallel help? Peter

  22. Hi John, ITM have angled USB2.0 & USB3.0 cables with different A/B angled connections, the shortest I could see is 1m lengths. https://itm-components.co.uk/pages/search-results-page?page=3&q=usb+right-angle Peter
  23. Hi Thommy, Did you try changing any of the Ascom properties in the SX Camera Setup? If not maybe Enable Advanced USB Parameters might help, there's also an Enable Debugging Option... not that I'd understand anything you'd get in the dump files though! Peter
