  1. Possibly, here’s the official response:
  2. I didn’t think so, he explains he’s only had it a few days so he doesn’t have that many examples to show as he had to reprocess his data. I have only watched the first 30 minutes but he doesn’t just apply it to almost finished images.
  3. I bought it earlier and got the license code 7 minutes after buying it. I’m glad I didn’t process much data over the past year given that this has to be done at the start 😂
  4. OSC and ha, getting some luminance and more OSC tonight.
  5. Very nice. Have yet to process my data of the same region. I really like IC2169
  6. I tried a laptop last night and there was no banding. I have 6 double sockets in my dome, but now you mention it, the monitor and 12v supply are off the same socket
  7. I plugged the Pegasus box into my laptop and there is no banding at all, so it’s an issue with the hardware.
  8. Ah makes sense! Congrats on your 2000th post too. Got it working last night on the latest app. Looks much nicer. @Richard_ thanks for the link. I tried uncoiling all the wiring etc. Unfortunately the screen banding is still there despite trying a number of things yesterday: I tried a completely different power supply, a 240v 12v brick type one rated at 4A - this made no difference. I unplugged everything from the Powerbox apart from one dew heater, the 12v input and a 3m Lindy USB3 cable. I kept all the wires apart so they are physically separately by a few feet - still got the same banding. I even tried with two more Lindy 3m USB3 cables. No difference. I tried 3 different dew bands, from short to long, all different brands - same banding on screen. I’m going to try it on my laptop over the weekend. Not really sure what else to try
  9. I’m confused, I did download the unity software but also this separate program above. The company have replied, said never seen it before and have suggested I troubleshoot it myself and let them know. Planning on trying a few things later.
  10. Definitely nice to deal with a supplier in England, and Bern is a decent chap and has been in the game a long time.
  11. Hi Stuart, I downloaded that software off the website last night just. I have just directly swapped out a different hub and it didn’t have any issues like this, just it was only USB2.
  12. I use a dual mono OSC IMX571 rig and use it as you have suggested. You really don’t need much colour data at all, but colour data is good from the OSC so you needn’t worry.
  13. I tried out a new to me Pegasus hub last night and there was quite noticeable banding when the dew heaters were turned on. I was using a Hitec Astro MHP V3 prior to this and there was no banding with the same dew heaters. I have a Nevada 25-30A power supply, and use Lindy USB cables, and branded dew heater cables. I havent tried accessing the PC remotely to see if it's visible, or havent tried if it affects subs as it was late last night when I got it setup. Any suggestions? https://streamable.com/4urgkc Cheers Adam.
  14. 2 hours of OSC isnt quite enough, so I hadnt planned on processing this, but you know you sit down at the PC for five minutes and next thing 2 hours has gone by! Just a crop of the left hand edge.
  15. I just threw the OSC and HA colour together this morning. Only have 2 hours of OSC per panel, so intend to add to this and get some luminance. Some nice dust and dark stuff to bring out once I get a few more hours of data.
  16. I have the 0.75x Riccardi reducer M63. It fits inside my drawtube (3.5" FT focuser). I have no idea on the ES version, but the RIR seems to suffer from stray reflections with some brands of filters. There is an M82 version of the Riccardi reducer, it has a slightly large spot diagram but illuminates a larger area. I use my RIR with APS-C, and it delivers good small stars right to the corners.
  17. Some fabulous objects that we never get to see up here! The second one has some seriously nice detail in the middle, but the outer edges seem to be badly out of focus? If that the FR or inherent in the telescope or from using too small filters?
  18. Cheers guys, there are definitely a number of options out there. I drew up a set of shims there on the PC and I'll print out a set later and see if they work at all.
  19. I decided I needed a filter wheel, and in adding this to the imaging train, I no longer have access to the tilt adjustment screws on the camera faceplate. On testing the kit last night, it's got a lot of tilt across the long axis of the chip - right side stats ouf of focus, so I need this to be corrected. I came across these items. They are made of PTEG and have a small raised bit that it either 0.1mm 0.2mm or 0.3mm high, and would be handy enough used on the chip tilt rig instread of the faceplate. Has anyone used them, and does anyone see any reason why I couldnt 3d print them in PTEG myself? I was going to order them but FLO is out of stock for 15-20 days, so likely the other side of Xmas. I have a 0.25mm nozzle that should give me a layer height of less than 0.1mm. Any advice welcome. 20. Last night got me 5 hours of luminance on B150. I should have had five hours of OSC too but I decided to install a new EFW earlier that day and couldn’t get the tilt sorted.
  21. I got an alert and went out but couldn’t see anything. Was on the middle of putting down a floor so couldn’t leave to set up camera.
  22. Clear here too plus calm and pretty steady seeing. 128th luminance sub of the seahorse nebula just finished.
  23. I checked my Sii earlier there and it’s definitely got the double reflection towards the camera.
  24. I received this ZWO EFW 5x2” from @mandrews today. Item arrived in exactly the condition it was described, boxed as new with all the parts that should be there. Martyn is selling some other items, and although he has a very low post count, he is honest and trustworthy, and my experience has been excellent with good communication and updates. I’d certainly buy from him again if he was selling other items that I needed. Cheers!
